About Re-creation Jewellery

Ruth found her passion for making jewellery through the art of silversmithing. She began to create her own designs, dabbling in different mediums. She fell in love with sparkling rhinestones and couldn't surpass the quality and uniqueness of vintage pieces.

The ethical element of recreating fabulous pieces from pre-loved jewellery is something Ruth is passionate about. "It's so satisfying to see something from yesteryear recreated as a modern day, unique piece of jewellery."

Most of the pieces are one-offs, recreated from beautiful vintage brooches and necklaces, which are then brought to life in a fresh, contemporary design. Ruth spends a lot of time searching for just the right pieces. The finished product far surpasses the mass produced items of today - and that's what makes Re-creation jewellery so special.

Ruth can also re-create a much loved brooch, bracelet or necklace handed down to you. Even your fathers or grandfathers old cufflinks can be re-created to be worn as a treasured piece. A timeless way to remember a loved one.

Please don’t hesitate to contact Ruth with questions, comments or suggestions. She'd love to hear from you.
